For decades, construction management software has relied on bloated legacy desktop tools or overly simplified cloud spreadsheets. Planners were forced to choose between mathematical accuracy and team collaboration.

Bearing exists to eliminate that compromise. We believe that a true CPM engine can be built for the edge, allowing the whole team to collaborate in real-time, online or offline, without ever breaking the underlying logic.

We rebuilt the core of project scheduling from scratch. The CPM engine runs on your device, not on a server — a full forward and backward pass over the whole dependency network completes as fast as you can click. Before any release ships, the maths is re-checked against the rules it must never break: float that cannot go negative, a critical path that cannot come out shorter than its longest chain of work, a pay app that cannot bill past the contract.

Coupled with CRDT (Conflict-free Replicated Data Type) syncing, two people can edit the same schedule from two different basements with no signal and both sets of changes survive — nobody overwrites anybody. An AI assistant sits on top to answer questions about the schedule and the field record.
